Virtual Wallet in Hull
Virtual Wallet is being used by NHS Hull CCG and their partner organisations as part of plans to significantly increase the number of individuals in the area that benefit from personalised care and personal health budgets.
Currently, three workstreams are live in the Hull area:
- Personal health budgets for individuals with unmet health needs – supporting individuals to access support and therapy not traditionally available via the NHS
- Personal health budgets for adults and children in receipt of Continuing Care funding – working alongside City Healthcare Partnership to offer Virtual Wallet to individuals and their families to support them with the management of their personal health budget funding
- Young Carers Grants – working alongside Hull City Council and KIDS, supporting the management and administration of grants to young people aged 5 to 17 who provide assistance, care and support to family members.
